Part of making a good video is planning out your shots on a storyboard. Unfortunately the apps for this are pricey and the ones our students used last year is no longer available. So I got the idea to use use Book Creator. With it's upcoming comic feature, I figured this could be a way for students to not only create storyboards, but publish them to YouTube as well. With Book Creator they can upload a storyboard template if they wish, draw, add pictures, video, and even sound to plan out their final production. I like that it also has the graph paper so they can add set layout or other designs. You can make each page one frame or put several on the landscape size books. Here are some examples:
So don't think Book Creator is just for creating books! There are so many possibilities!
